A charity has given its website a complete overhaul to help boost its work in the fight against breast cancer.

The new Crazy Hats Breast Cancer Appeal website has gone live, and while it still needs a few small tweaks, charity founder Glennis Hooper is thrilled with the new and improved site.

Miss Hooper from Wellingborough said: “We’ve still got a lot to do on the site but it is a vast improvement on our old one.

“We want to make this more interactive and more informative.

“We are very pleased with it so far though.”

The new look website features details of the charity, how it started, how to get involved with its work and information about future events.

And for the first time, anyone wanting to take part in the charity’s annual sponsored walk at Wicksteed Park in Kettering on Sunday, March 23, can enter online or download an application form.

There’s also a running total for how much cash has been raised since the charity launched in 2001, which currently stands at £1,825,000.

Money goes towards improving breast cancer care at Kettering and Northampton general hospitals.
