A fundraising event has been held at the Swansgate Shopping Centre in Wellingborough in aid of the Crazy Hats Breast Cancer appeal.
It’s one of the many events being held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to raise funds for the Wellingborough-based charity.
At the Swansgate event, shoppers were invited to take part in a Pink Tombola, dedicate a pink rose to a loved one and purchase Crazy Hats merchandise including badges, teddy bears, bras and T-shirts.
Crazy Hats founder Glennis Hooper said: “The support from the public has been great.”
The charity provides help to men and women before and during breast cancer treatment and supports them in their battle to become breast cancer survivors.
The charity also works closely with Kettering and Northampton General Hospital and the Plastic Surgery Department at Leicester Royal Infirmary to provide support and help raise funds.
Lindsay Tickner, Swansgate Shopping Centre manager, said: “It’s great that we can work with and support The Crazy Hats again this year with Pink Day.”
