Officers from the Corby Town Safer Community team ran a parking operation in Oakley Vale, Corby, as a result of residents’ concerns.
Patrols were carried out last Tuesday and Wednesday (January 15/16) and 11 tickets were handed out.
PC Brad Wilson from Corby Town Safer Community team said: “The tickets were mainly issued for the offence of parking within 10 metres of a junction. One ticket was issued for obstructing a public footpath and one was issued for causing an unnecessary obstruction.
“We are inviting residents to let us know what issues they feel we should be dealing with in their community.”
