Raunds’ very own Romeo Nathan Dixon made sure the moment he popped the question to girlfriend Trish Neville was one which would be captured on camera.
With the help of Venture Photography, 26-year-old Nathan, managed to capture the exact moment he got down on one knee to 27-year-old Trish.
The two lovebirds visited the Northampton studio, in The Ridings Arcade, for a special Valentine’s photo shoot – but little did Trish know just how special it was going to be.
She said: “I couldn’t believe it when Nathan proposed and I’m elated that the moment I promised to become Mrs Dixon has been captured on camera.
“We’re now able to not only tell the story of our proposal, but also show it to our friends and family for generations to come.”
Prior to the session, Nathan had spoken to the studio and informed the team that he was planning to propose.
As the photo shoot was coming to an end, photographer, Ian Smith, asked the couple if there were any other shots they wanted him to capture, at which point Nathan got down on one knee and asked a very surprised Trish if he could have her hand in marriage.
Following Trish’s answer, “yes, of course!”, the couple were showered in confetti and presented with a bottle of Champagne to toast to their future happiness.
Ian said: “It was very touching to be a part of such an intimate event in the couple’s life.
“Nathan and I worked together to set the scene, and I think I also came in handy to offer moral support and calm his nerves!”
