TWO county buildings have been selected for the East Midlands regional final of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Awards.
Stanwick Village Hall is up for the community benefit award and the regeneration award and Althorp House is in line for the building conservation award.
The Village Hall Trust in Stanwick have transformed the site of a dangerous derelict building into a modern facility which is a focal point for the whole village.
The county’s entrants will go head to head with more than 30 other schemes competing for the most prestigious prize in the UK property industry.
The regional winners will be announced in Nottingham on April 19. The national finals will be held in London in October.
