Throughout November, over 50 ‘Mo Bros’ from Northamptonshire Police have grown moustaches for Movember, to raise awareness of men’s health issues and raise funds for prostate and testicular cancer charities.

Police officers, special constables, PCSOs and police staff from departments across the Force have taken part and so far have risen over £2,500.

Northamptonshire Police has also taken part in the Movember Heroes in Uniform Challenge and is currently third on the Teams’ Leaderboard, with Inspector Foskett appearing on the top 10 Individuals’ Leaderboard.

The challenge pits teams from emergency services and the armed services against each other to see who can raise the most money for charity.

Inspector Foskett said: “I can’t wait to shave my moustache off! However, as uncomfortable as it has been for me and everyone taking part, it’s nothing compared to the pain and discomfort of someone suffering with prostate or testicular cancer.

“I am really proud of what Northamptonshire Police, and everyone who has supported Movember, has achieved.”
