Northamptonshire could see up to 5cm of snowfall by the end of today (Sunday, January 20), according to Pitsford Weather Station.

The weather station is predicting the snow should remain light this morning but it will turn heavy for a time this afternoon.

The county could see up to 5cm of snowfall by the end of the day, but more could fall on higher ground.

A forecast by the weather station said: “The snow is expected to continue this evening and overnight, but becoming light and patchy.

“It will be another cold day with temperatures struggling below freezing. In fact temperatures could fall a touch lower than they are already as the snow moves in. Little change in the temperatures is expected overnight.”
