County braced for snowfall tomorrow

DESPITE warm temperatures last week, the county could be in line for some snow this week.

According to Pitsford Hall Weather Station, temperatures will fall to 1C tonight, and tomorrow could see outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow.

But forecasters have said travel will not be disrupted because of the adverse weather, and warmer temperatures will return at the end of the week.

A spokesman said: “Cold conditions will remain on Wednesday.

“We will still have the moderate north-easterly wind feeding outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow. Travel disruption is unlikely with accumulations generally light.”
