Two female entrepreneurs have set up a networking group for women in Corby.

Siobhan Holmes, owner of the Vino Van - a horse trailer which has been converted into a prosecco bar - and Louise Prickett from marketing consultancy Chirpy Bird will launch ‘Business and Bubbles’.

The networking group will launch next month and has been designed to educate businesswomen as well as helping them make contacts.

Miss Holmes said: “The group will bring together female entrepreneurs in a fun networking environment, which will include afternoon tea and prosecco.

“Each month will be completely different so visitors will learn something new as well as making business connections.

“Each month we will also be inviting local charities, giving them a platform to promote their services.”

Miss Holmes added that she doesn’t believe the venture has been done before.

She said: “We are two young female entrepreneurs who are keen to support other entrepreneurs and charities locally.

“This has not been done before in Corby.

“The meetings will take place the first Wednesdays of each month the new cafe The Pantry in Corby’s town centre, with the launch being on Wednesday, July 5.”
