Corby will witness an unusual sight tomorrow when it is invaded by a swarm of blue and white cyclists.

Around 300 Huddersfield Town Football Club fans – including their chairman Dean Hoyle - will be racing through the town in early afternoon while they take part in their fifth annual ‘Pedal for Pounds’ fundraiser.

Some weary legs will be cycling the 250 miles from Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium in London via Cambridge, Leicester and Doncaster with the participants arriving at the John Smith’s Stadium in time for the club’s final home game of the season – which is against Sky Bet Championship winners Leicester City - on Saturday.

It is all part of the the ‘Keep It Up’ which has raised approaching £1m for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

All those taking part would welcome Corby’s support as they pass through and anyone who would like to contribute to their fundraising efforts can do so via www.justgiving.com/keepitupcampaign or text KIUP99 £5 to 70070.
