The Core theatre at Corby is seeking a new head of its board of trustees following the retirement of its inaugural chairman.
An experienced leader is needed for the role, which involves working with the board of trustees and the senior management team as the theatre develops strategies to ensure it continues to thrive.
The Core opened in November 2010 and houses a 445-seater theatre with additional studio spaces offering the community the chance to take part in workshops and creative projects, with a particular focus on children and young people. Last year it welcomed more than 27,000 paying audience members and more than 15,000 people, mainly young, participated in activities provided by The Core.
The role of chairman of trustees is a voluntary position and full job description, person specification and details about how to apply can be found on The Core’s website at www.thecorecorby.com on the News page.
Applications must be submitted by November 29.
