The results are in and the winner of the Northamptonshire Telegraph’s Salon of the Year is Salonista in Corby.

After whittling down the nominations for the final shortlist, the votes have been counted and the salon in Meeting Lane, Corby Old Village, has been crowned as this year’s winner.

We offer all aspects of hair and beauty

Stacey Gadke

When Stacey Gadke, who runs the salon with business partner Jolene Callan, heard the news, she said: “That’s amazing, that has made my day.”

Salonista was shortlisted with 12 other salons from Kettering, Corby, Desborough, Wellingborough, Rushden and Raunds for the title.

But despite strong competition, the salon proved it is a cut above the rest by securing the highest number of votes.

Stacey said: “We offer all aspects of hair and beauty.

“We like to think we are a one-stop shop.”

The salon has three beauticians, three stylists, two juniors and a pole fitness teacher.

As well as hair cuts and colours, other treatments available at Salonista include spray tans, HD brows, waxing, make-up, and manicures and pedicures.

Stacey and Jolene have 40 years of experience in hair and beauty between them and Stacey said some customers have been with them since they qualified.

She said their loyal customers have become friends and are like family to them.
