Corby revellers get advice on staying safe

Police officers will be out and about in Corby at the weekend to give out advice on responsible drinking.

The force’s mobile police station will be in the Old Village on Friday and Saturday (November 3 and November 4), from 10pm until 4am.

PC Rod MacKenzie will be leading a high visibility presence in the Lloyds Road area to offer reassurance and guidance to people enjoying a night out.

A police spokesman said: “As part of the force’s drive to reduce alcohol-related crime and disorder and promote responsible drinking, officers will be on hand to give advice about safe drinking and staying safe to those out and about on the town over the weekend.

“To help avoid becoming a victim of crime through excess drinking, why not stop by for a chat.”
