Corby joined the nation in remembering those who gave their lives for their country at a ceremony on Armistice Day (November 11).

Shoppers and office workers joined members of the Corby and District branch of the Royal British Legion, the mayor, Cllr Judy Caine, councillors and the authority’s chief executive Norman Stronach for a short ceremony outside the Cube.

Standards were lowered and two minutes silence was observed.
