Corby laptop scam victim conned into paying £300 for bottle of juice

A man paid £300 for a bottle of juice after falling foul of a laptop scam in a Corby car park.

The victim was approached by two men in the Everest Lane car park between 4.30pm and 4.50pm on Friday (July 15).

The men offered to sell him a new silver MacBook and after agreeing a price of £300, he handed over the cash and was given a bag in exchange.

After checking the bag, the victim found the MacBook had been replaced with a bottle of juice.

By this time, the two men had driven away in a silver Peugeot.

One of the men is described as white, about 30-years-old, with blue eyes. He was wearing a black cap and a blue T-shirt.

The second man is described as mixed race, about 40-years-old, 5ft 11in, with a big build. He had short black hair and was wearing a white T-shirt.
