An exhibition of work by students from the University of Northampton is on show at the Rooftop Gallery, Corby, examining the myths and realities of life for refugees in Britain today.

The posters by the social and community development students look at many aspects of the subject, including how the issues are depicted in the media.

Gallery spokeswoman Paula Boulton said: “We are excited to have this event taking place at the Rooftop which is a facility open to all members of the community. This is a very topical issue and the arts is a great way to explore the myth and reality of anything.”

The exhibition will run until Saturday, May 18, at the gallery in the former library above Queens Square. It is open from 11am until 4pm, from Wednesday to Saturday, and from 11am until 7pm on Thursdays.
