Corby Town FC have announced the launch of a new academy giving 16-18-year-olds the chance to experience full-time football.

The academy for boys will be run by first team manager Tommy Wright, whos professional footballing career has taken him to Blackpool, Aberdeen and Luton Town amongst others.

It will give boys aged 16-18 some real experience and education about what life in football is really about, while they continue with school.

Trial dates for the 2015/16 season will take place on Wednesday May 13, Wednesday May 27 and Sunday May 31, in Steel Park in Rockingham Road in Corby.

They will include a practical session led by Mr Wright and further information on the education packages.
