Ladies with a passion for fashion are invited to a charity event in Corby on Friday night (November 2).

It’s being staged by Back on the Rack, the clothes shop in High Street, in the Old Village, and the proceeds will go to several good causes, including the charity Windmills which helps the families of sick and disabled children.

The event is being held at the Conservative Club, in Cottingham Road, starting at 7.30pm when bargain-hunters can enjoy some early Christmas shopping.

There will be 16 stalls selling a variety of goods, including clothes from Back on the Rack, jewellery and gifts.

A fashion show will start at 9pm and at 10pm there will be a disco.

Michelle Wright, who opened Back on the Rack almost a year ago, said: “This is the first event of this kind we have organised and we’re hoping it’s going to be a big success.

“It’s going to be a fun night out for the ladies before the Christmas rush starts and everything gets hectic.”

Tickets are £5 and they can be obtained on the door.
