Residents are invited to join in the fun at an event being held on Saturday (July 20) on the Hazel Leys estate in Corby.
The borough council, in partnership with the Hazel Leys Neighbourhood Association and the Northamptonshire police, is holding the fun day from midday until 4pm.
It is being held at Hazel Leys Community Centre, in Gainsborough Road, and attractions will include a car boot sale, a bouncy castle, face-painting, a hawk display and a barbecue.
Groundwork Northants will be there to put on some games and Corby Radio will also be at the event.
The fun day is being held to raise money for Hazel Leys Neighbourhood Association and the estate’s youth club.
Leader of Corby Council, Cllr Tom Beattie, said: “What better way to enjoy the weekend than being outside with the family, soaking up the sun at a local fun day. We hope to see lots of people dropping by.”
