Residents are invited to have their say at a meeting being held to discuss the Little Stanion development.
MP for Corby and East Northamptonshire Tom Pursglove is holding the meeting on Friday, August 14, at Little Stanion Primary School.
A number of stakeholders, including Corby Council’s chief executive Norman Stronach, have confirmed their attendance and will be answering any questions or queries that residents wish to raise.
The summit is a result of local councillors deferring any decisions on Little Stanion until the next meeting of the development control committee, which will go ahead on August 25.
This was to allow time for greater consultation with all parties.
Mr Pursglove said: “I have organised this summit to make sure that all residents have the opportunity to voice their opinion on how to proceed in Little Stanion.
“Whilst I recognise that this decision is entirely a matter for Corby Council and its members, my role as the Member of Parliament is to ensure that the views of my constituents are heard loud and clear.
“As such, I believe that the Little Stanion summit, where many stakeholders and residents will be present, is a constructive way for the issues of concern to be discussed and is an opportunity for residents to seek answers to the questions they have.”
The meeting starts at 7pm.
