Corby Council has received a second draft report from the Audit Commission following its review of the management of major projects in the town, including the Cube.
The authority has been given until Monday (April 29) to comment on amendments to the report into issues raised after the council carried out an investigation into a number of developments.
A council spokesman said: “The Audit Commission advises that the report remains confidential at this time and it will decide when the final version will be released.”
Corby Council has been working with the Audit Commission, now KPMG UK, on the investigation into the financial management of the Cube, which cost £47.5m, about £12m over budget.
It is understood the sale of land for the new Tesco store and a revamp of Rockingham Triangle are also under scrutiny.
