Corby Council has lowered the flag outside its Cube HQ to half mast after last night’s terror attack in Manchester.

Twenty-two people have been confirmed as dead with 59 injured after the explosion at an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena.

Leader of Corby Council Tom Beattie said: “Today all of our hearts lay heavy as we wake up to the devastating news of the terror attack in Manchester.

“This horrendous attack on young, innocent lives is devastating and our thoughts are with all of those affected by the atrocity.

“To show our respect to the victims we have lowered our flag outside of the Corby Cube to half mast.

“Our sympathy and support are with the people of Manchester.”
