A Corby charity shop is set to hold the sale of the century, with everything up for sale for just £1.99.

From Saturday, August 3, everything at the Oakley Vale Barnardo’s shop will be on offer for the bargain price, including four items of children’s clothing, four DVDs or computer games and four books.

Store manager Nick Farrant said: “Everything in store, including a great range of good quality clothing and bric-a-brac, is now on sale for £1.99.

“With the current spell of hot weather, there’s plenty of summer clothing on sale to keep you cool and we’ve also got lots of toys and books to keep the children happy and occupied during the summer holidays.

“We would also love to hear from any local people who might be interested in volunteering in the shop - even if they can only spare a couple of hours a week. “

Anyone interested in volunteering or who would like more information is asked to call Nick on 01536 744823.

The store, at the shopping precinct in Butland Road, opens from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.

Donations of clothing, equipment and toys can be dropped off at any time.
