Artists in Corby who have never exhibited their work before are being given the chance to take part in a show at the town’s Rooftop gallery.
It is staging its first Art For All exhibition from Friday, March 1, until Sunday, March 31.
The exhibition is open to artists of all abilities who are invited to show one piece of work.
Gallery co-ordinator Paula Boulton said: “This exhibition is to showcase the breadth of local artistic talent and to give those, who have not yet had the opportunity, the chance to see their work exhibited in a proper gallery setting.
“It will be our ninth exhibition and comes just a year after Corby Artists’ Network took over the old Corby library.”
The cost of taking part in Art For All is £10, with no charge made for artists under 16.
Anyone who wants to take part is asked to deliver their work to the Rooftop Gallery, in the former library above Queens Square, between 10am and 7.30pm on Tuesday, February 26 and Wednesday, February 27.
To find out more about the exhibition and Corby Artists’ Network, people can attend a social evening on Thursday (February 7) at the gallery, from 7pm.
