Corby art gallery hosts first exhibition by school

Pupils from Our Lady of Walsingham Primary School in Corby will be the first in the town to exhibit their work at the Rooftop art gallery.

After a private viewing on Thursday (April 3), the exhibition will run until April 27, Wednesday to Sunday, from 11am until 4pm.

One of the gallery’s founders, Paula Boulton, said: “Our Lady’s School has had a long association with the gallery and we are happy to have pupils’ work during April in the foyer.”

Anyone who would like to run a workshop at the gallery during the schools’ Easter break can drop a leaflet in at Rooftop with the details.

It costs £5 an hour to hire space at the gallery which receives 10 per cent of the takings.
