Neighbours are to be consulted on plans to build more than 100 homes in Wellingborough.

The proposals, for land to the south of Northampton Road, will be unveiled by developers Hampton Brook at a public exhibition this afternoon (Thursday, January 22).

Hampton Brook wants to build 102 homes at the site, as well as create ecological and landscaping improvements.

Developers say they want to hear what local people think and will hold the event at the Kingsway Centre at 130 Kingsway between 3pm and 7pm.

The draft proposals will be on display and members of the project team will be on hand to answer questions.

A spokesman for Hampton Brook said: “We look forward to meeting local residents and community representatives to discuss our proposals and receive comments on our draft plans.

“The scheme would also deliver significant funding through the Government’s New Homes Bonus Scheme, and would bring wider economic benefits to the area, such as new jobs and increased support for local businesses.”
