Two vehicles were damaged during an incident which started in the village of Harringworth before moving to a pub car park.

Police are appealing for information after an assault took place in Harringworth village on Saturday, October 13, between 10.30am and 11.30am.

A police spokesman said: “An altercation occurred between the driver of a white Mercedes Sprinter van and the occupants of a black Ford Focus on Seaton Road, Harringworth.

“Both vehicles then travelled into Caldecott where a further altercation occurred in the area of the Plough Public House.”

Both vehicles were damaged during the incident.

The driver of the white van was an Asian man, in his mid 20s and of slim build.

The driver of the Ford Focus was a white man, aged about 50 and of stocky build. The passenger was a white man, in his mid 20s and of a slim to medium build, with short dark hair and wore dark clothing.
