Comedian Lenny Henry is bringing his Pop Life show to The Core theatre, Corby, on Thursday, October 25, as part of a 38-date UK tour.
He will take his audience on a joyride through his life using his first main passion of music, as well as his wit.
Pop Life will feature Lenny playing the piano in front of an audience for the first time, after having recently passed his grade 4 piano exam.
He said: “It will be a nerve-wracking experience, but really good fun.”
Following rave reviews for his role as Antipholus of Syracuse in The Comedy Of Errors at The National Theatre, Lenny is returning to stand-up in Pop Life, a show about how music goes better with everything and how it affects us in all our lives.
He’ll also be giving his views on the Olympic and Paralympic fever that has swept Britain.
To book tickets, which range from £18 to £25, call The Core on 01536 470470.
