Scottish comedian Danny Bhoy is bringing his Edinburgh Fringe hit show Dear Epson to The Core theatre in Corby this month.
A few years back, Danny launched a campaign and wrote letters which resulted in the return of roast beef Monster Munch snacks to our supermarket shelves.
Dear Epson on Saturday, October 27, revolves around a handful of other letters that Danny has penned out of frustration, with mixed results.
He said: “After all, stand-up is to a large extent about complaining. There’s just more purpose and structure to this. Dear Epson is about aspects of life that everyone can identify with, the little things which irritate people, which they would find too frivolous to write a letter about. So I’m doing it for them.”
Since his victory in the 1998 Daily Telegraph Open Mic Awards, a year into his comedy career, Danny has become one of the most prolific comics at work today and has a huge following in Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
The show, which is not recommended for children under 16, starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £16.50 and £14.50 for concessions. To book call 01536 470470.
