The Kettering congregation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is opening its doors to celebrate the opening of the meeting house’s new extension.
The extension will be open to members of the public on Friday, January 17, between noon and 9pm and again on Saturday, January 18 between 10am and 5pm.
Organisers say the open days are a chance for people to see the building, meet members of the congregation and learn about some of the activities which are held by the church every week.
Tours of the building, in Rothwell Road, will take place. Visitors will be shown displays on family history, community service, youth and children’s activities, homemade crafts and more.
Among those attending will be Kettering’s MP Philip Hollobone and mayor Cllr Keli Watts.
