A GRADE two listed church is to undergo a £35,000 revamp after money was made available for urgent repairs.
The Heritage Lottery Fund has announced that the Church of All Saints, in Church Lane, Naseby, will benefit from the funding.
The fund has announced that more than £2m has been made available for 23 churches in the region.
The grant for All Saints, which has its origins in the 13th century, will go towards repairs and plasterwork replacements.
Emma Sayer, head of Heritage Lottery Fund in the East Midlands, said “Historic places of worship are an irreplaceable part of our heritage. I am delighted we are able to continue supporting congregations across the East Midlands.”
