Chowns Mill van fire put out by Rushden fire crew
A crew from Rushden fire station has attended a fire on the A45 / A6 Chowns Mill roundabout between Higham Ferrers and Irthlingborough this afternoon.
They were responding to a report of a van overheating on the carriageway at about 3.20pm today (Friday, June 21).
They discovered a van’s engine compartment had been slightly damaged by fire. There were no injuries.
