People shopping in Asda Rushden on Friday evening may find themselves humming along as local choir NN10 Community Voices will be singing from 7pm to 7.30pm to raise money for Children in Need.

Mark Riley, committee member, said: “We’ll be singing a variety of people’s favourite songs including ‘Fields of Gold’, ‘Danny Boy’, ‘Africa’, ‘True Colours’, ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ and ‘I’ll Be There’. It’s a great opportunity to raise money for Children In Need and we’ll be encouraging shoppers to donate their spare change for this worthwhile cause.”

NN10 Community Voices is an established local choir which has performed at weddings, local events and even at the Royal Albert Hall last year.

Mr Riley added: “It’s a really nice choir to be part of and it’s fantastic to be able to do what we enjoy and are good at and raise money for charity at the same time. So come along to Asda on Friday evening, do a spot of shopping, enjoy a free concert and support Children In Need!”
