Children from Bozeat Community Primary School carried a special Wellingborough schools Olympic flame during the first leg of its journey around the borough this morning (Monday, July 2).
Organised by Wrenn School, the silk flame will visit about 20 schools today before arriving at Wrenn’s Doddington Road site this afternoon.
Bozeat pupils Sapphire Goodes, four, Elise Lane, four and Theo Beeby, 11, carried the torch during the final stretch of its visit to their school.
Heateacher Emma O’Brien said: “I have been really impressed with all the Olypmic initiatives which Wrenn has provided us with. I am really impressed that they were prepared to come out as far as Bozeat.”
