The Citizens Advice Bureau has been celebrating its 75th anniversary with a fundraising campaign.
A collection which was held at Sainsbury’s store in Kettering recently raised a total of £346.82.
It marked the start of a 75-day campaign by the charity’s staff at Kettering and Corby to collect money, raise awareness of the services it provides and recruit volunteers.
During the 75 days, people are being asked to drop off their spare change, pennies and two-pence pieces at the bureau’s offices in Corby Cube and Kettering Council offices between 9am and 2pm from Monday to Friday.
On Friday, October 31, there will also be a country music night at Corby Irish Centre with a disco, karaoke and a bucking bronco.
Tickets for the fundraising night will be £5 and will be on sale soon.
