An early years practitioner from Thrapston has said she is looking forward to taking the plunge for charity.
Mandy Watts, who works at the Petit Enfants nursery, in Huntingdon Road, which is part of the Co-operative Childcare group, will fly to heady heights and take part in a tandem sky dive to raise cash for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Mrs Watts said she is nervous to do the sky dive on July 6, but is hopeful to raise as much money for the charity as possible.
She added: “It is our charity of the year and I wanted to raise as much money as possible for a great cause.
“There is a lot of awareness for certain types of cancer, but I think there isn’t as much around cancer in children and teenagers. So, if I could raise some money for the charity and raise awareness of the Teenage Cancer Trust it will be great.”
Mrs Watts said any donation would be hugely appreciated and you can sponsor her at www.justgiving.com/mandywattsskydive.
