Corby’s version of Got To Dance has been cancelled because of the weather.
The event was to have taken place on Friday (January 25) at the Best Western Hotel in the town.
The competition was organised by Lakelands Hospice and Nene Valley Dance Studio in Corby to raise funds for the hospice.
Paul Marlow, fundraising manager for the hospice, said: “We had dancers and judges coming from London and other areas and with uncertainty about the weather we have decided it is best to cancel the event. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.”
The event will now go ahead on Friday, March 22, and tickets already bought will be valid for that date. Refunds are also available.
