Art lovers are being invited to a private viewing of an exhibition featuring everything from paintings and photography to sculpture, ceramics, jewellery and wood turning.
A group of artists from Gretton are among 70 taking part in this year’s Rutland Open Studios, where artists open the doors to their own private studios and invite the public to view their work.
And a private viewing of their work will be held on Friday from 6.30pm to 9pm at Welland Barn, 9 Kirby Road, Gretton.
Open Studios started last weekend and will also take place on the weekends of June 16 and 17 and June 23 and 24, from 10am to 4pm on each day.
The event will then culminate in a group show at Oakham Festival from June 22 to 24.
Exhibiting will be photographer and sculptor Michael Moralee; wood turner Viv Moralee; potter and jeweller Tishy Budden and artists Hilary Salomon, Berit Richter, Lyn Hewitson, Yvonne Rylatt and Peter Moralee.
This will be the sixth annual Rutland Open Studios, which since it was started in 2007 has attracted artists from Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire to take part.
