Have you got a question for one of your prospective parliamentary candidates?

If so, two hustings events are taking place to give people the chance to quiz the candidates trying to win their votes in the forthcoming General Election.

A hustings event for the Wellingborough constituency is being held at Park Road Baptist Church in Rushden at 7.30pm on Friday (May 26).

The Conservative candidate Peter Bone and Green Party candidate Jonathan Hornett have already confirmed they will be attending the event.

But the East Northants Faith Group, which has organised the event, is waiting to hear if Andrea Watts for Labour, Chris Nelson for the Liberal Democrats and Allan Shipham for UKIP will be able to attend.

People voting in the Kettering constituency will also have the chance to attend a hustings event at SS Peter and Paul Church in Kettering at 7.30pm on Thursday, June 1.

All four prospective parliamentary candidates will be attending.

People will be able to put their questions to Philip Hollobone for the Conservatives, Mick Scrimshaw for Labour, Suzanna Austin for the Liberal Democrats and Rob Reeves of the Green Party.

Both events are designed to give people the opportunity to quiz the candidates and find out where each party stands on key issues.
