Police have appealed for information about an incident in which a cat was injured after being shot with an air gun.
The white cat, named Snowball, was shot with an air pellet in Raunds on Tuesday, July 29.
The feline returned home injured and was taken to the vets where an air pellet was discovered in its back.
Snowball had been in the Smith Court, Smithfield Place and Red Row area of the town.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed Snowball being shot or have any information about anyone using an air weapon in the Raunds area.
Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
