The Castle theatre in Wellingborough is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year – and it wants to try to trace as many past members of its youth theatre classes as possible.

The theatre’s wide variety of youth arts classes have been at the heart of the theatre’s engagement programme for more than 15 years, and theatre bosses hope to launch an alumini scheme to help past members reconnect with the theatre, and with each other.

The Castle runs drama, dance, music and musical theatre classes for talented young children from the region from four to 18-years-old, giving them a chance to perform on the stage, and plans to organise a range of exciting events for its alumini scheme members.

Participation and engagement manager Alex Leonard said: “Whether you were here for one year or 10, left 15 years ago or just this summer, we want to hear from you.

“So if you’ve been involved in any of our classes over the years, or if you know somebody who was, please pass on the word and ask old friends to get in touch too.”

If you are a past participant who would like to be involved in the alumini scheme you contact Alex Leonard by emailing alex@thecastle.org.uk.
