THE ex-finance manager of a county care home for adults with learning disabilities who abused her position of trust to gain more than £300,000 has been jailed for 32 months.
Jenny Glanister, 51, stole from Oakfield home when she was working there and also from its vulnerable residents before covering her tracks.
At Northampton Crown Court last month, she pleaded guilty to eight charges relating to her time spent working at Oakfield in Easton Maudit near Wellingborough.
Glanister admitted theft, obtaining a money transfer by deception, false accounting and five counts of fraud over various periods between 2004 and 2010.
She was sentenced to two years and eight months at Northampton Crown Court earlier today.
