Northamptonshire’s Green Party says it plans to field candidates in five county constituencies at May’s election, including Corby and Wellingborough.
Corby and East Northants’s candidate is Jonathan Hornett, who also stood in the 2012 by-election.
Marion Turner-Hawes is the party’s candidate for Wellingborough. The business consultant lives in the town and was brought up in Kettering.
The selections mean that in Corby and Wellingborough four parties – the Conservatives, Greens, Labour and UKIP – have candidates. Only Labour and the Tories have so far announced candidates for Kettering, while the Lib Dems are yet to confirm any candidates for north Northamptonshire.
