Be careful if you are taking images in the rain or in wet conditions – modern cameras with their electronics are prone to water damage.
If you have no choice, and it is raining, put your camera in a clear plastic bag with a hole cut out for the lens.
Depending on what camera you have, you may be able to put an elastic band around the bag and lens to seal the camera and make it relatively water proof.
I have used this method on several commercial shoots when it was raining.
Make sure you wipe the water droplets off your filter before you take your image.
