Camera tips with Beck Photographic of Wellingborough

Turn day into night.

If your camera has manual exposure control, wait for a sunny day and take an image which includes the sun and the sun’s reflections in water, underexposing by 2 to 5 stops.

You will get a very atmospheric image that looks like it was taken at night.

You could also turn your image into black and white and then tone it a slight blue colour to make it look like midnight.
