Camera tips with Beck Photographic of Wellingborough

Don’t always keep your camera in program or auto mode.

You will have much more control over your camera if you use aperture priority when you want to control the depth of field (smaller aperture will keep more things in focus for landscapes etc, and larger aperture will blur your background for portraits), and shutter priority so that you can use a faster or slower shutter speed when you want to freeze or blur the action.
