Businesses are being urged to take part in a survey which could shape the future of Wellingborough.
The town’s Chamber of Commerce is inviting representatives from firms across the borough to complete a short questionnaire about growth and development priorities.
The findings will be used to help bid for a slice of the £100 million funding available through the Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership and South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership.
It is part of the new ‘Enterprising Wellingborough’ campaign launched by the chamber, which aims to highlight key development constraints and identify ways to grow the town.
James Wilson, chamber president, said: “We have had a steady response to the survey so far but we need more people to take part to ensure we get a full spectrum of views and to add further weight to Wellingborough’s argument for gaining vital development funds.”
A free-to-attend business breakfast briefing has been organised on Friday, December 6, between 7.30am and 9.30am, at 4-6 Regents Court, Park Farm, Wellingborough, to feedback the results from the questionnaire and to highlight the opportunities for businesses if a growth plan is supported.
