Darts Legend Bobby George has presented a cheque to Cransley Hospice at the opening of a new bookmakers in Kettering.
Ladbrokes opened the doors to its new premises, on High Street, Kettering, this morning (Saturday March 9) and gave the Telegraph a chance to put on a £100 charity bet - with the potential winnings going towards Cransley Hospice.
We had asked for your horse racing tips throughout the week and decided to place a bet on Edmund Kean, who was running in the 2.05pm at Sandown.
Unfortunately, the horse finished third. However, big hearted bosses at Ladbrokes still donated £100 to the charity.
Bobby George, also known as Bobby ‘Dazzler’ George, and ‘The King of Bling,’ played lucky customers in darts matches throughout the day, and posed for photos and signed autographs.
