Run by husband and wife Rob and Sarah Hart, who used to work in the wine industry, the brewery opened in May 2012.

“We decided beer was far more fun, there was far more going on,” Mr Hart said.
“Ours was one of 200 breweries to open in the UK last year, but we are Wellingborough’s only one.”

Mr Hart, who said he was pleased with the turnout at the open day, revealed they were planning to make use of more fermenters this summer – which should double their capacity in time for their second anniversary next year.

The Ministry of Bicycles is a group of bike enthusiasts from Northampton who have performed their spectacular Bomberdrome show at a variety of locations.
