GARDENERS grafted for three days to transform a hospice garden.
Staff from Anglian Water gave up their time to complete a Groundforce-style makeover of the grounds of Lakelands Hospice in Butland Road, Corby.
They were joined by volunteers from the town and some of the hospice staff last Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
They built a new path in the garden which is suitable for patients in wheelchairs, moved the summer house and provided a new verandah and created and planted raised beds.
Sharon Park, administration manager at the hospice, said: “Anglian Water approached us some time ago and asked how they could help the hospice.
“Everyone did a fantastic job and we are extremely grateful for their help. The transformed gardens look lovely now.”
